The second “Open Lecture” was convened on Tuesday, January 13, 2026

On Tuesday, January 13th, an “Open Lecture” was convened at A・O・Z (Aouze) to present findings and insights of the Fukushima Health Management Survey in an easy-to-understand manner and apply these outcomes to the maintenance and promotion of residents’ health.
At the lecture, Dr. OHIRA Tetsuya, Director of the Center’s Department of the Health Survey Public Support, presented results of the Fukushima Health Management Survey, the current status of obesity and diabetes in Fukushima Prefecture, practical lifestyle improvements that can be implemented at home, and the positive effects of laughter on extending healthy life expectancy. His talk also included a participatory “Laughter Yoga” session. A total of 137 people attended.
