Technical Meeting was held on August 29 and 30. @ QST

The IAEA Technical Meeting, "Medical Doctors' Radiation Education and Communication: Training and Research for the World," was held on August 29 and 30 at Japan's National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology (QST) in Chiba.

The meeting provided training for representatives of worldwide Anchor Centers in the IAEA Rays of Hope initiatives. Under the Practical Arrangements between the IAEA and Fukushima Medical University, our center supported the meeting. Four of our faculty members presented on radiation education in the aftermath of the Fukushima nuclear accident, including radiation risk communication and lessons learned.
