In order to broadly disseminate the significance of receiving the Comprehensive Health Check, a leaflet compiling findings from the CHC and health tips on different topics has been prepared and enclosed in an invitation for on group and individual health checks to eligible persons.
In order to raise health awareness an to encourage continuous health checkups and confirmation of test results, the explanation of "CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease)" as to how the kidneys work and the relationship between diet and the risk of developing the disease was included in the leaflet as a theme of 2022.
2. Holding health seminars
We hold health seminars on such occasions as health classes or other events organized by covered municipalities.
We hold periodic health seminars including lectures by doctors, individual consultations by specialists, and panel displays. In FY2022, there were 25 times in 4 municipalities.
3. Publicity through various channels
In order to promote the Comprehensive Health Check and encourage as many people as possible to receive health checks and prevent diseases and receive treatment, we request the posting of the information on the CHC in publicity papers issued by the prefecture and municipalities. We also request medical and other facilities to display posters and place leaflets to encourage receiving health checks.
4. Information dissemination through our web site
We post health promotion columns about the findings of the Fukushima Health Management Survey and lifestyle diseases and encourage participation in health check.
5. Tie-up with the Fukushima Kenmin App
Information on the Fukushima Kenmin App was enclosed with the notification of the health check results for those 16 years and older. Health check results recipients are eligible for 200 bonus points in the Kenmin App.
6. Securing health check venues for participants’ convenience
Group health checks have been offered mainly in areas where the number of eligible person is large. In accordance with the lifting of evacuation orders and in consideration of areas with fewer eligible persons, new venues have been added and locations have been changed to enhance convenience for participants.
In FY2022, group health checks were conducted on 44 occasions at 28 venues in the prefecture.
