Our faculty member gave presentation at ICRP The 7th International Symposium

The 7th International Symposium of the ICRP (International Commission on Radiological Protection) was held in Tokyo from November 6 to 9, 2023, and Dr. Masaharu TSUBOKURA, Director, Office of Health Communication at the Center, gave a presentation on “Overview of Health Issues After the Fukushima Incident” at the session "How Experience of the Fukushima Daiichi Accident is Improving Radiological Protection" on the second day.
He introduced the importance of continuous and easy-to-understand information dissemination and interactive communications, by radiation seminars, classes, and/or utilizing social networking services, to reduce anxiety about radiation based on the results of the Fukushima Health Management Survey (FHMS). The presentations, including a Q&A session, ended on a high note.
