To raise awareness of the importance of health checks, a leaflet was enclosed with the invitations for both group and individual health checks sent to eligible individuals aged 16 years and older.
In FY2024, the leaflet focused on ‘hyperuricemia’, explaining its causes, symptoms, and preventive measures. It also encourages examinees to continue participating in health checks and to review their examination results carefully.
2. Holding health seminars
We hold health seminars on such occasions as health classes or other events organized by covered municipalities.
In FY2024, a total of 143 sessions were held across 10 municipalities. The program included lectures by physicians, individual consultations with healthcare professionals, blood glucose and HbA1c measurements, and panel displays.
3. Publicity through various channels
In order to promote the Comprehensive Health Check and encourage as many people as possible to receive health checks and prevent diseases and receive treatment, we request the posting of the information on the CHC in publicity papers issued by the prefecture and municipalities. We also request medical and other facilities to display posters and place leaflets to encourage receiving health checks.
4. Information dissemination through our web site
We post health promotion columns about the findings of the Fukushima Health Management Survey and lifestyle diseases and encourage participation in health check.
5. Tie-up with the Fukushima Kenmin App
